Species: Enterolobium cortotisiliquum
Additional Comments: A cinnamon brown color, sometimes with subtle streaks. Light-weight, but very durable and stable in the exterior. An excellent substitute for Chestnut. Prized for
marine uses. Somewhat coarse-textured like Oak and Chestnut. Note: a mask must be worn while working this wood to prevent inhalation of crystallized resin. Resin crystals are like miniature spiked balls, which will cause sneezing and
coughing. |

Species: Cedrella fissilis var. lilloi
Additional Comments: A rare, high-quality Spanish cedar that is reddish pink in color. Recently cut wood is watermelon colored. Very durable
and stable in the exterior, making it prized for door and window manufacturing. |

Species: Amburana cearensis
Additional Comments: An acacia, whose lumber resembles highly-figured white oak (Roble = "oak" in Spanish). A sweetly-fragranced wood,
that is easy to work and very stable. Prized for furniture building and cabinetry work in Argentina. AKA "Cerejeira". |
